EFF Innovation Award Ceremony 17th Sept 2010

I’ve been short listed for the Ethical Fashion Forum Innovation Award 2010. London Fashion Week after show party & award ceremony took place at The Hospital Club in Covent Garden on Friday night. We started the evening with dinner at Yautacha, one of the best dim sum restaurants in London. These dumplings were exquisitely presented and absolutely delicious! The three of us shared 6 dim sum dishes and a pot of ‘oriental beauty’ blue tea between us, and a plate of 4 chocolates for desert – the tangerine flavoured chocolate was outstanding.

Winter Melon Dumping (disguised as carrot slugs)

Roasted Duck Pumpkin Puff (really cute!)

Crystal Dumpling Wrap (my favourite)

Yauatcha chocolates – mango, tangerine, matcha, sake

A short walk from Soho to Covent Garden in a pair of bright pink pumps, I changed into my red heels when I got there. We ordered a bottle of Merlot Corbieres and found a seat in the packed out venue.

I later discovered about the complimentary organic Lychee cocktails which were deliciously refreshing, but a lethal mix with the red wine…

My sister & I after a couple of drinks

Waiting for the announcement
